Marketing should be an investment, not a cost.

If you want to grow your business, you need new clients. And to get new clients, you need sales leads.

And to get sales leads, you need to ‘do’ Marketing.

And that’s where the maths kick in. How much do you spend on Marketing in order to generate the sales you’re aiming for? At We Wraith we aim for an average Return on Investment of 400%... so for every £1 you invest in Marketing, you’re looking to generate £4 of sales revenue. If a stock broker offered these sort of returns, you’d snap their hands off.

The caveat is that (like the stock market), it’s not a perfect science - if it was, we’d be kazillionaires. But you can mitigate your risk by choosing an agency that has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the tricks of the trade. We’ll work with you to help set your Marketing objectives, starting with a short workshop where we align your business goals with the Marketing activity needed to achieve them - from there we develop the Marketing Plan and Timings.... and then it’s time to deliver results!

Our Marketing Workshop is a perfect opportunity to spend a few hours working ON your business, not IN your business.

We’ll start by looking at your business objectives; the growth you’re going to achieve, where you expect to achieve the growth and how you want to achieve it. We’ll then discuss your customers - who are they?

We’ll build customer profiles that help us to understand what buttons we need to press in order to attract them. And we’ll spend some time thinking about the types of customers who you haven’t been able to reach, or have stopped working with you... And work out why. Next we will look at your competitors what do they do well, and what don’t they do well? Whose Marketing do you admire, and why. We’ll then convert all of this insight into a Marketing SWOT analysis.

From here, we’ll focus on your Marketing and Communications objectives. Using the Marketing Funnel as our guide, we’ll plot our strategy against the goals we want to achieve for each of our communications: AWARENESS How do we reach more people and make them aware of your brand and the services you offer? What activities will lead to having more followers on social, more people on your mailing list?

ENGAGEMENT Once people are aware, how can we start interacting with them - in other words how do we start a conversation to tell them more about the benefits you offer?

CONSIDERATION What information do we need to give to potential customers to make them seriously consider using your services? What marketing channels will best reach them?

CONVERSION What do we need to get the customer over the line? How do we remove any hesitations or concerns that is stopping them from signing up?

RETENTION Having made the sale, how can we make sure that they come back time and again? And even better, how can we encourage them to recommend you to others - because that’s free Marketing!

We conclude the workshop by defining what success looks like. We’ll set some simple, key metrics to measure our performance against and set a benchmark by writing an imagined testimonial from a future customer.

Once the workshop is complete, our work begins...

We’ll take the insights and knowledge that we’ve gained to develop a comprehensive Quarterly Marketing Plan. This will take you through the activities that we recommend you undertake on a quarter-by-quarter basis. We’ll recommend channels you should use to reach your prospects and customers. The objective of each asset is clearly defined against the Marketing Funnel.

We will also create a timing plan, so not only do you know when to expect the marketing materials to be completed, you’ll also know when we’ll be asking you for input.

Finally, we will also put together a monthly Content Calendar that plans out your social media activity.

Keeping on top of social is one of the top pressures on SME business owners - there’s a very modern sense of dread in the thought that you haven’t posted anything for a while. The content calendar creates a regime for us to stick to, allowing us to get ahead of the plan and schedule content days and weeks in advance - and also ensures that our posts have purpose, and aren’t just posting for the sake of it.

Every Marketing Plan is different, with unique assets designed to meet a purpose. On the following pages you’ll find some of the types of materials that have helped our clients to grow.

Once we have delivered the Marketing Strategy and plans, the choice is yours. You can choose to run the strategy yourself, creating and publishing your own Marketing assets... or we can take away all the hassle and do it for you!

We offer a monthly subscription service where for a fixed monthly fee we will implement the Marketing Plan on your behalf - from developing creative ideas, to shooting photography/video and creating animations, and even publishing the content on social and advertising channels. As it’s a subscription (not a retainer) you are free to cancel at any time.
