Three Tips for Keeping Your Holiday Spirits Bright The annual stress of the holiday season could be even more intense than usual this year. Thanks to COVID-19, families may need to reconsider those Thanksgiving trips to grandmother’s house – or at least social distance around the turkey. Szeniawski Named Citizen of the Year YORK The results are in and after careful consideration it is with great pride that Mary Anne Szeniawski was named York’s Citizen of the Year. When thinking of Mary Anne’s community volunteer work, St. Christopher’s is her official one (communion to patients at the hospital, Durgin Pines, Sentry Hill and people’s homes). In addition to assisting with Table of Plenty, Mary Anne also irons all the alter cloths for St Christopher’s – she used to also clean the church! KITTERY Work on the Piscataqua River (I-95) Bridge will result in significant lane closures and traffic shifts to accommodate median work. This median work is expected to continue until October 2021. Beginning on Monday, November 16, crews closed and re-opened the southbound travel lanes with crews opening the bridge to three lanes (closer to the outside edge of the bridge) by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 20.
