Black Hawk casino revenues soared 41% in October BY DON IRELAND SENIOR REPORTER

Black Hawk casino revenues increased by 41 percent in October, compared to the same prepandemic month two years ago, according to a Weekly Register-Call analysis of state gaming statistics for slot machines. For October 2021, Black Hawk reported

$66,787,080 in Adjusted Gross Proceeds (AGP), a substantial increase from the $47,051,709 report from October 2019. At the same time, Central City’s gaming remained essentially flat in October 2021. State AGP figures list Central City at $7,038,082 in 2021,

slightly slipping from the same reporting period two years earlier, when AGP for Central City was listed at $7,185, 507. The difference is $147,425 less. All totaled, the state reported an approximate 15% increase for the gaming industry statewide in October, compared to two years earlier. According
