One of the best attractions in the Alfama neighborhood is the Feira da Ladra, a vibrant flea market held on Tuesdays and Saturdays where you can shop for handmade artisanal products, from antique ceramic tiles and vintage linens to art and silverware. Insider tip: the best way to get to the market is via Tram 28, one of few remaining historic trams in Lisbon, which also has one of the most picturesque routes, passing through the Baixa, Chiado, and Alfama neighborhoods.
