Turning Back Time
This week marks 31 years since one of the most defining sporting moments in Penrith's history occurred.
The Penrith Panthers won their first Premiership, recording a 19-12 win over Canberra in the Grand Final at the Sydney Football Stadium.
The match was played on Sunday, September 22 1991 and marked Canberra's third straight Grand Final appearance and Penrith's second. The Panthers had lost the 1990 decider.
This dressing room shot shows the celebrations after the game.
The late Ben Alexander holds the Grand Final trophy, while the J.J. Giltinan Shield sits firmly guarded by the squad.
The beers are certainly flowing – and it appears Mark Geyer has two on the run at once!
