Negotiated hourly rate as per the Clerks Award and up to 38 hours per week
Complete Care Team provides attendant care for people in the community with high support needs. Our highly respected company was established in 1999, providing a quality homebased person-centred service. We are recruiting a Finance Offi cer to join the Finance Team in our Blaxland Offi ce. Initially the position is casual, 32 hours per week, with a view to permanency after a qualifying period. The Finance Offi cer will provide support to the CEO/Director & Accountant/Finance Offi cer by doing Financial Administration.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Financial
Complete day-to-day accounting transactions Prepare monthly accounts Reconcile accounts Complete the accounts payable function Prepare & issue invoices, complete accounts receivable, monitor outstanding receivables & provide monthly aged receivables report to CEO/Director & report any concerns Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Assist with the preparation & lodgment business activity statements (BAS) Prepare quotes for new referrals & funding bodies Check funding approvals are current & correct, distribute approval information for roster & administration purposes Reconcile petty cash, reconcile credit card, process staff reimbursements
Support Human Resources
Keep informed of relevant changes regarding award increases & industrial matters in consultation with the Accountant/Finance Offi cer report any relevant changes to CEO/
Director for implementation Provide new employees with required employment paperwork & assists Human
Resources Offi cer as required
Payroll Administration
Maintain Computerised payroll system Process timesheets for computerised payroll system, run payroll reports, check & amend errors as required Process payroll & associated payroll tasks Produce & fi le fortnightly & monthly payroll reports Lodge & pay monthly tax liabilities Prepare & distribute Annual Payment Summaries at end of year Balance payroll accounts & resolve payroll discrepancies, report any issues to CEO/ Director
General Offi ce Duties
General offi ce duties requested by the CEO/Director as a priority Ensure the company intellectual property is secure & not shared with a third party Ensure client/staff IT privacy by following IT security policy & procedure Answering telephones Support the CEO/Director to maintain the Document Control System Support the CEO/Director with property maintenance as required Assist with Internal audits as requested by CEO/Director Attend monthly meetings with CEO/Director & Monthly meetings with Offi ce Team
The successful candidate will have:
The ability to work to time constraints Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Strong communication skills & an understanding of confi dentiality Ability to work as part of a team but also have the initiative to work unsupervised Honesty, integrity & professionalism Certifi cate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting &/or relevant experience in a similar role This role has been identifi ed as a risk assessed role and as such an NDIS Worker check is required for the successful applicant To apply please contact Complete Care Team and attach resume to recruitment@cctnursing.com
