Early win for Trevor Ross as ballot order for Lindsay is confirmed

abor will top the Lindsay ballot paper at the May 21 Federal Election, a small win for local candidate Trevor Ross on the road to polling day.
Sitting Liberal MP Melissa McIntosh will be fifth on the ballot paper, which features seven local candidates.
Outside of the major parties, candidates from the Greens, One Nation, United Australia Party, the Liberal Democrats and the Informed Medical Options Party will also contest Lindsay. The election campaign is set to go up a gear next week with the Easter and ANZAC period now behind us and Labor Leader Anthony
Albanese out of isolation after being diagnosed with COVID-19 last week. On the local campaign trail over the last week, Labor announced an $8.5 million investment in Cook Park at St Marys if elected, while the Liberals turned the sod on the $1.5 billion HyperOne initiative in Penrith.
Lindsay is considered a key seat at this election, currently held by a margin of five per cent. Ms McIntosh is hoping to be the first local Member since Labor’s David Bradbury to serve back-to-back terms in Lindsay. More election coverage » p. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11
