The unit price cycle began to improve in 2008 with the median price rising by 6.7% in the last 12 months alone.

Since the October quarter stock levels have steadily declined and an immediate impact on price was registered.

30% of unit sales are within the $300,000 - $349,999 price point. A significant increase from previous years, indicating buyers are looking for newer or renovated properties.

46% of unit sales in the last 6 months sold in 30 days or less. The component of stock that remained on the market for 120 days or more was minimal compared to other markets across NSW. Lower stock levels, increased rental yields and lack of new projects have all contributed to an active market with excellent prospects for future growth.
