Winter Wonderland
Wonderful Selection of Second Hand Books
Sleigh bells ring Are you listening In the lane Snow is glistening A beautiful sight We’re happy tonight Walking in a winter wonderland Gone away is the bluebird Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song As we go along Walking in a winter wonderland In the meadow we can build a snowman And pretend that he is Parson Brown He’ll say Are you married We’ll say No Man But you can do the job When you’re in town
Shop 4-6, 461 High Street, Penrith

Later on We’ll conspire As we dream by the fire To face unafraid The plans that we’ve made Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman And pretend that he’s a circus clown We’ll have lots of fun with mister snow man Until the other kiddies knock him down! When it snows Ain’t it thrilling Though your nose gets a chilling We’ll frolic and play the Eskimo way Walking in a winter wonderland Walking in a winter wonderland Walking in a winter wonderland
Silver Bells City sidewalks busy sidewalks . Dressed in holiday style In the air There’s a feeling of Christmas Children laughing People passing Meeting smile after smile And on every street corner you’ll hear Silver bells silver bells It’s Christmas time in the city Ring a ling, hear them ring Soon it will be Christmas day Strings of street lights Even stop lights Blink a bright red and green As the shoppers rush home with their treasures Hear the snow crunch See the kids bunch This is Santa’s big scene And above all this bustle You’ll hear Silver bells, silver bells It’s Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling, hear them ring Soon it will be Christmas day

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack frost nipping at your nose, Yuletide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like eskimos. Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe Help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow Will find it hard to sleep tonight. They know that santa’s on his way He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh And ev’rymother’s child is gonna spy To see if reindeer really know how to fly. And so I’m offering this simple phrase To kids from one to ninety-two Although it’s been said many times, Many ways: “merry christmas to you”.
Santa Claus is coming to town You better watch out, You better not cry You better not pout, I’m telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town He’s making a list, And checking it twice; Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice Santa Claus is coming to town He see you when you’re sleeping He knows when you’re awake He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness sake! You better watch out! You better not cry. You better not pout, I’m telling you why ‘Cause Santa Claus is coming to town Santa Claus is coming to town He see you when you’re sleeping He knows when you’re awake He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness sake! Away In A Manger Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head. The stars in the night sky looked down where he lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky, And stay by my cradle ‘til morning is nigh.

All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, see my two front teeth! Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth, then I could wish you “Merry Christmas.” It seems so long since I could say, “Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!” Gosh oh gee, how happy I’d be, if I could only whistle (thhhh, thhhh) All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, see my two front teeth. Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth, then I could wish you “Merry Christmas!”
I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus Underneath the mistletoe last night. She didn’t see me creep down the stairs to have a peep; She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep. Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus Underneath his beard so snowy white; Oh, what a laugh it would have been If Daddy had only seen Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night

O Come, All Ye Faithful
O’ Holy Night
Let It Snow
O come, all ye faithful, Joyful and triumpant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem. Come and behold Him, Born the king of angels. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him Christ the Lord.
O holy night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining. Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, And since we’ve no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night, O holy night, O night divine!
It doesn’t show signs of stopping, And I’ve bought some corn for popping, The lights are turned way down low, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation. Sing all ye citizens of heav’n above. Glory to God in the highest. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him Christ the Lord. Yea, Lord we greet Thee, Born this happy morning. Jesus to Thee be glory given. Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him Christ the Lord.
Truly He taught us to love one another, His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother. And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! O praise His name forever. His pow’r and glory ever more proclaim! His pow’r and glory ever more proclaim!
When we finally kiss goodnight, How I’ll hate going out in the storm! But if you’ll really hold me tight, All the way home I’ll be warm. The fire is slowly dying, And, my dear, we’re still good-bying, But as long as you love me so, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Hark, now hear the angels sing, a king was born today, And man will live for evermore, because of Christmas Day. Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day. While shepherds watch their flocks by night, they see a bright new shining star, they hear a choir sing a song, the music seemed to come from afar.

Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day. And man will live for evermore, because of Christmas Day. Long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible said, Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day.
Hark, now hear the angels sing, a king was born today, And man will live for evermore, because of Christmas Day. For a moment the world was aglow, all the bells rang out there were tears of joy and laughter, people shouted “let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace”. Now Joseph and his wife, Mary, came to Bethlehem that night, they found no place to bear her child, not a single room was in sight. And then they found a little nook in a stable all forlorn, and in a manger cold and dark, Mary’s little boy was born. Hark, now hear the angels sing, a king was born today, And man will live for evermore, because of Christmas Day. Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day. Oh a moment still worth was a glow, all the bells rang out there were tears of joy and laughter, people shouted “let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace”.
Silent Night
White Christmas
Silent night! Holy night! All is calm, all is bright. Round yon virgin Mother and Child, Holy infant so tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace.
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the treetops glisten And children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow.
Silent night! Holy night! Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar, Heav’nly hosts sing Hallelujah. Christ the Saviour is born, Christ the Saviour is born. Silent night! Holy night! Son of God, love’s pure light. Radiant beams from Thy holy face, With the dawn of redeeming grace. Jesus Lord at Thy Birth, Jesus Lord at Thy Birth.
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white.
Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow, In a one horse open sleigh Over the fields we go Laughing all the way. bells on bob tail ring making spirits bright What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song tonight. Oh jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh, Hey! Jingle bells jingle bells Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh
