Mother’s Day is a time to appreciate all kinds of mothers — from birth mothers to foster mothers, from godmothers to grandmothers, and even mothers whose only children are covered in fur and walk on paws (or fly, or swim…).

To me, Mother’s Day is a celebration of unconditional love, incredible strength and fortitude, and seemingly endless patience.

This year, why not give your mother the gift of travel or a much-deserved getaway? Taking her on a trip can be a wonderful way to create lasting memories and show your gratitude for all that she has done. Whether it’s a relaxing spa retreat, a beach vacation, or an adventurous road trip, there are many options to choose from. Not only will she be able to unwind and recharge, but she’ll also have the opportunity to explore new destinations and try new experiences. The gift of travel is truly priceless, and it’s a thoughtful way to show your mother just how much she means to you. Begin your plans with this issue and all the options.

Another May holiday, Memorial Day weekend, is also a popular time for travel. BBQs and trips to the park as it marks the unofficial start of summer. Many people take advantage of the three-day weekend to escape the hustle and bustle of their daily lives and explore new destinations. From beaches to mountains, there is no shortage of options to hit the road and visit a park. The weather is often warm and sunny, making it perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and water sports. However, it’s important to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day, which is to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. So, while you’re enjoying your travels, take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Happy May! Let’s Go Celebrate!
