• (FEI CSI 1*/2*) June 19-23

• (National/5) June 26-30

The Jumper Special will feature FEI CSI 1*/2* Jumpers, as well as National Jumper competition, while June II includes Hunter, Jumper and Equitation classes.

“We heard from our customers there was a strong demand for a premier Jumper offering in the Northeast during these weeks and are excited to add to our already strong spring schedule,” says Joe Norick, HITS Chief Customer Officer. “We’re especially looking forward to introducing the 1* at the HITS Jumper Special and offering developing riders the opportunity to experience FEI competition.”

2024 sees the addition of two classes to our weekly Open Jumper offering –the $15,000 STX Open Speed, run at 1.35m and the Horseflight Jumper Classic at 1.35-1.40m, offering $24,500 in prize money. Both are sure to be exhibitor favorites! We’ve also added the Itty Bitty Jumpers and weekly Classics at 0.65-0.75m and 0.80-0.85m to ensure developing riders have opportunities to showcase their skills.

On the Hunter side, we’re excited to announce the return of WCHR Hunters to the Hudson Valley during HITS-on-the-Hudson VI (NY Horse & Pony Show).

HITS continues to raise the bar for the premier Northeast show experience in 2024 with additional facility upgrades! Exhibitors can look forward to 4 new competition and warm-up rings, additional Gold stalls, new lunging areas, and more!

• All new CSI FEI 1*/2* during the HITS-on-the-Hudson Jumper Special; three weeks of CSI FEI 3* competition during the Hudson Valley Jumping Tour® plus CSI FEI 4* action during HITS-on-the-Hudson VIII.

(Week VI)

Beyond equitation competition, HITS-on-the-Hudson offers exhibitors and spectators a variety of activities, experiences, and amenities to complete their horse showing experience. And with the scenic Catskill Mountains as its backdrop and the lovely town of Saugerties as its community, HITS truly offers an ideal setting for equestrian enthusiasts, riders, and families alike to spend their summer.

PRINCETON Show Jumping

s we approach A

our 10th outdoor season of our Princeton Horse Shows at Hunter Farms North, we are excited to share with you an introduction of some Key Staff additions and enhancements to our Facility, Equipment, Programs, Championships, and schedule!

While we continue to offer you wonderful Judges and the very best Hunter and Jumper Course Designers, we are always on the lookout for experienced staff members to enhance your showing experience.

For ’24 we welcome:

Ms. Dina Mazzola is Princeton’s new assistant Show Manager and head of Exhibitor Relations. Dina brings a lifetime of horse show experience to her new role with Princeton. Dina is an “R” USEF Judge, USEF Hunter Course Designer, a successful Show Manager, and a lifelong exhibitor. Dina looks forward to running a fun, prompt, professional horse show with an eye for all our exhibitors’ needs!

Mr. Will Mitchel is Princeton’s new Technical Coordinator. Will has years of top-level experience at some of the country’s best in-gates, main-ring announcing, as well as many years as an overall crew chief. Will joined us at the very end of last season and proved he could organize the complete facility, the in-gates, the jump, feed, and drag crews and keep the show running smoothly Will has taken charge of in-gate personnel selection, and we look forward to several new and very experienced in-gate professionals joining us this year!

The Best Footing …Even Better!

Ms. Julie Berman joins Princeton’s Sponsorship Team with Tracey Weinberg for the Sponsorship, Vendor, and VIP/Exhibitor experience. Julie joins us after many years of success with the original Garden State Horse Show, Monmouth at The Team, and the incredible Essex Horse Trials at Gladstone!

Ms. Jess Jones and her business, Equestrian Gardens, are partnering with Princeton Horse Shows to bring garden experiences to the show grounds. Jess and Equestrian Gardens specialize in landscape development for shows, courses, the VIP experience, and more! We look forward to watching Jess’s vision unfold to create “unique experiences” that elevate your showing and viewing experiences this season. Our 2024

Newly remixed, upgraded, and reinstalled footing in all the show and warm-up rings!

Princeton has always been known for the best full drainage footing for you and your horses. Drew Discount and his Dirtworks team’s perfect original installation made this possible. Now Drew and his Team have returned to completely refresh, remix, and add where needed, with a complete relaying of the show and warmup rings. Princeton’s footing is uniform, consistent, and just like brand new. You and your horses deserve nothing less! Enhanced water trucks and new set of Dalman Jumps with new CARO jump cups, and extensive new additions to our Hunter and Hunter Derby Jumps.

• New: Saturday Grand Prix!

Programs

• Our FREE* Young Jumper Development Program
