Deal Us In: Welcome to the 52nd Annual A Day in Our Village!

Oak Park, shuffle the deck and get ready to play your best hand—the ultimate summer tradition is back! We are thrilled to welcome you to the 52nd annual A Day in Our Village festival, happening this Sunday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in beautiful Scoville Park.

If you’ve caught a glimpse of this year’s festival logo, you already know we are dealing a winning hand for our 52nd year. Featuring a playful 5 and 2 card design. The design is a fun, upbeat nod to a classic 52-card deck, representing 52 in-

credible years of our diverse community event.

Whether you are a lifelong resident who remembers the very first festival or a brand-new neighbor or visitor looking to discover what makes our community tick, this day is for you. A dedicated core group of volunteers has been working hand-in-hand with The Village of Oak Park and Park District liaisons to make sure this year’s celebration is absolutely unforgettable.

We have lined up an incredible day packed with local flavors, live music to keep you grooving, all while you are engaging with over 150 different local businesses, non-profits, groups, and government officials. Best of all? The Foam is back again in 2026! The Park District of Oak Park is bringing massive foam cannons right to the center of Scoville Park to create a whole new generation of fun. We’ve also expanded the event again by closing down On-

Come on out this Sunday to catch up with old friends, meet your neighbors, chat with your elected officials, and celebrate everything that makes Oak Park such a great place to live, visit, and explore!

Can’t wait see you there!

Most sites are accessible to those with disabilities.

Public restrooms (also accessible) are located just west of the Scoville Park Tennis Courts. Disabled Parking is typically located on Oak Park Avenue, north of the loading/unloading Zone on Oak Park Avenue. Some adjustments could be made based on this year’s roadwork on Oak Park Avenue. For more information on A Day in Our Village, call 708.358.5408 or e-mail community@oak-park.us.

A Day in Our Village is an event, organized by volunteers, to celebrate the vitality and the rich advantages of our diverse community, and provide the opportunity for all residents, their families, and friends to come learn about the myriad of organizations (civic, cultural, social services, religious and business) and share in this Oak Park experience.
