High school football and boys soccer may be on hold this fall, but you can relive glorious victories of autumns past every Friday night at 7 p.m. by tuning into Lyons Township High School’s radio station WLTL (88.1 FM) for “Friday Night Lights Classic Games.”
The station will air classic broadcasts of football and soccer games, including a rst-round IHSA playo© victory in 2012 featuring LTHS grad and Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl championship kicker Jake Elliott, the 2010 soccer team’s state seminal and nals victories, the 2014 homecoming football game versus Downers Grove North as well as broadcasts and highlights from the 1970s and 1980s.

North Riverside Public Library invites patrons to explore the history of inequality and civil rights in America through a mixture of ction and non- ction by taking part in the new Deeply Rooted Book Club, which will meet for the rst time on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Fleetwood Mac: The Chain … Broken
Brookeld Public Library invites you to learn about the rise of the renowned rock ‘n’ roll band Fleetwood Mac and their journey of failed relationships that fueled an amazing musical career during “Fleetwood Mac: The Chain … Broken” on Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.
Gary Wenstrup will trace the history of the band, which launched in the mid-1960s, achieved monumental success in the mid-1970s and still makes headlines today. Using interview and performance video, Wenstrup will follow the band’s career with a focus on their blockbuster album “Rumours” and the band’s classic line up of Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood.
