Desert Swell Creative is a photo + video team providing documentary-style wedding and elopement photography and videography in the Four Corners area.

We provide photography and videography coverage, help with elopement planning, and can create both full ceremony and highlight videos for you to relive your wedding day for years to come.

In our free time, we’re climbers, skiers, mountain bikers, and trail runners. Our dream elopements involve hiking a 14er at sunrise, climbing a desert tower with a summit ceremony, or climbing into a hot tub after a day of skiing. If your idea of your perfect day involves time outside we would love to be a part of it!

Oh hey, I’m Katie. I’m a wedding and elopement photographer, adventurer, and cat mom. I’m a Colorado gal born and raised. I love a good hike as long as it’s followed by a burger and I prefer to be in bed by 9 with a good book. But don’t let that fool you: I’m READY to be your wedding hype woman. My specialty is making everyone feel comfy AF in front of the camera, even if you’re “awkward” or have never had a professional photo taken before. Let me promise you two things.
