ABOUT US Wed & prosper have been at the forefront of the Isle of Wight wedding world for over 5 years now... But we have well over 30 years of experience between us working within the events industry across the world! We have grown as a business and now have freelancers who work for us doing events and weddings the Wed & Prosper way.

Event Planning and Management | Event Styling | Prop Hire From planning and styling to prop hire and coordination. We have all aspects covered! Having a DIY wedding but need to make your Instagram ideas come alive? There is no need to go to the expense of buying it all - hire it from us!

Need help with ideas and styling the event? Our Head of Creative, Rachel has your back.

Or maybe you want to take the stress out of event planning and want the whole shebang? We can help organise and plan every single aspect of your wedding or event, making sure all the stress is taken care of, while dedicating ourselves to ensuring its completely personal to you. We can coordinate with all suppliers involved, taking on all the finer details making your event come alive and giving you more time to relax. We have professional indemnity insurance, public liability insurance and both Carrie and Rachel hold their own personal alcohol licences and first aid certificates, along with a number of other training courses, so you know you’re in safe hands.

Don’t be fooled by our name, although we specialise in weddings, we can work on all events, hen parties, baby showers, garden parties and corporate events. Making sure your dream wedding or event comes to life, stays on budget and looks better than any Pinterest board.

PLANNING & COORDINATION Your wedding day is going to be one of the best days of your life and we can help make it your best day.

We can be there on the day (and days leading up to the big day) ensuring all the suppliers stick to your timetable, everything happens as you planned and that you and your guests can enjoy the day without any worries.

Wedding planning? Isn’t that a luxury? An expensive treat I can’t afford? Well it’s more affordable than you think and with the busy lives we all lead, can be a worthwhile investment for your budget and wellbeing!

We offer a variety of services to support you with your day: Supplier sourcing and shortlisting - we can help you find reputable suppliers and help you shortlist those that suit your vision.

Full wedding planning - want all the stress taken away so you can enjoy the run up to your best day, we can help right from the moment you set the date through to when the final party goers leave- someone always forgets to call those taxis!

Wedding planning support - want someone to hold your hand and provide advice and guidance, whilst you still have control of the planning, we can help.

On the day coordination - you want to be able to enjoy the day you’ve been dreaming about and this includes your family too. We allocate your own personal co-ordinator for the day, who will look after every detail.

Additional Staff - providing a free bar but want it set up and run like a bar, we can help by providing staff.

These services can complement our styling and prop hire services to give a one stop shop for wedding support.

We have been fortunate enough to have worked on events of all scales and are passionate about helping you create the perfect day. Carrie is the teams fully qualified wedding planner. She is basically your own personal ‘Monica’ from friends - and we all need one of those in our lives!

WEDDING & EVENT STYLING Wedding and event styling is perfect for people who want their celebration to feel and look fabulous, with something a little different, personal or edgy but are unsure where to start or need help with the creative vision.

From the ceremony and aisle, to the wedding breakfast, photo area and everything in between, we can be the extra pair of hands you need to design and style your perfect celebration and event, making sure no corner is overlooked. It’s the smaller details that make any event and wedding really stand out, but all these little jobs can add up, causing unnecessary stress. Let us take the stress off your hands, sit back and sip your gin or glass of fizz while we go to work creating your dream day.

Styling services can include everything from laying tables to hanging bunting, setting up the aisle, banquet seating, photobooths, dessert stations and more. You name it and we will do it! Making sure every single item is in the picture-perfect position. We can do as much or as little as you need.

We can complete every single task on your list with our Wed & Prosper squad, leaving it a total surprise for you and your guests, we can direct your team of helpers / bride squad, working together to make the venue magical and also work 1-1 with the more hands on bride simply being that extra support system.

STYLING CONSULTANCY Styling your wedding, the choices are vast. So many images around and you have so many ideas that you don’t know where to start and it’s become overwhelming, does this sound familiar?

If so, let our styling guru Rachel lend a hand. She can help you through your Pinterest boards, Instagram saves and all the ideas buzzing through your head and formulate a plan with you to pull your design together.

This service can save you money in the long run, stopping you overspending on buying and hiring the wrong items.

PROP AND DÉCOR HIRE Wed & prosper stocks a wide range of props, furniture and décor available to hire for all weddings and events across the Isle of Wight.

From large backdrops, archways and furniture to smaller decorative items for table centrepieces, receptions and aisles, we are a one stop shop when it comes to event hire whatever your theme may be.

We have plenty of one of a kind pieces to make your day stand out, so please ask us for a copy of our hire catalogue. Need something a bit more bespoke and personal to you? MADE WITH LOVE (BESPOKE SERVICE)

We love getting crafty and making bespoke items for couples to keep as memories of their big day.

If you’re after something a bit different as a stand out piece or custom signage, then have a chat with Rachel who has the creative side covered, she can help create your dream piece and decor.

From directional signage, archways, back drops, wreaths, hoops, down to the smaller details like colour schemes and themes. Make them as personal to you as you desire. We can also use our sign writing skills to pre write all your blackboard signs. Gather your Pinterest and Instagram images and send them Rachel’s way to take full advantage of this bespoke service.

STATIONERY DESIGN Do you want bespoke stationery that sets the scene for your day? Let us design your wedding stationery for you.

You may have a specific idea you want bringing to life or want our in house designers to give you some ideas, either way we can help.

This service is based on an hourly rate, we can even arrange printing with our preferred supplier Raven Print.

VENUE CONSULTANCY AND MANAGEMENT Using our knowledge of weddings we can help turn your wedding venue idea into reality.

We know weddings and we know what couples are looking for. We can help with design, logistics, social media and marketing ideas including styled shoots plus access to our gold book of recommended suppliers. Don’t have time to deal with enquiries or viewings? We can do that too.

Need someone to oversee the weddings, provide support to couples and be there on the day so that your venue is well cared for whilst you carry on with other work and everyday life? Then Wed & Prosper can help. We love weddings and love taking care of venues, we feel priviledged to be chosen to look after your home or business.

RICHARD 4th time of trying due to Covid but we finally managed to get our wedding! Unreal day from start to finish. Surrounded by the most amazing people. An amazing venue and even more amazing people working tirelessly to make it perfect. I cannot recommend and thank Carrie, Rachel and Tash from Wed and Prosper enough. They reached out to us within hours of our original wedding in New York having to be cancelled in 2019 wanting to help and have remained with us at every attempt during the pandemic. HANNAH Hiring Wed and Prosper to co-ordinate our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made in planning. Originally we hadn’t thought we’d need a co-ordinator, however there were SO many times throughout the day that we were glad that we did.

Carrie was amazing at helping us set up the day before and to ensuring the day ran smoothly. We knew we didn’t have to worry about anything because Carrie was already on it. This meant that on the day we could just enjoy ourselves and spend time with our guests.
