Amenities include comfortable sleeping with quality mattresses, ample bedding and linens, cooking utensils, flatware, dishes and glassware. You will find all of the major appliances (and then some) in the modern kitchen. Cooking up a gourmet holiday meal will be a cinch!
The home sits on a quiet hillside, set above the oceanfront. Many old growth and newly budding trees surround the home, covering it with a blanket for sound buffering. Friendly neighbors are quiet and spotted on rare occasions. Two balconies offer a picturesque spot to soak in the surroundings and enjoy the peace and quiet. This is a great home to forget about the outside world and relax. The home is located within walking distance of the ocean and a longer walk (or short drive) to the local market, quaint boutiques such as Moxie Fair Trade with quality, sustainable finds from home goods to scarves and jewelry. Shops line the main street, Laneda Ave, with plenty of options for gathering goods for special occasions or souvenirs. The local bakery is just around the corner with delicious pies and pastries to gobble up with a cup of freshly ground morning Joe.

hen planning to host a holiday in a destination location, determine what to bring and what to pick up locally. Communicate in advance with the rental agency or home owner to help with your organization plans. Determine what ammenities the home offers such as appliances, stemware, flatware and serving pieces. If you plan on holiday baking, ask whether the home provides an electric mixer, sheet pans, cooling racks, mixing bowls, serving bowls etc. Select a vacation home based upon what extras are offered, which will help to create a more memorable holiday tradition away from home.
For added convenience, ship the items that will not be used until you arrive. Holiday clothing and gift wrap can also be shipped to avoid unnecessary bulk while traveling. Take the gang out on a shopping spree to prepare for the occasion. Pick up special Christmas gifts with local flair, specialty foods and unique or homemade treasures for decorating.
