Each year, Webb School is strengthened by the generosity of parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends whose giving helps us fulfill our mission: to inspire and nurture the full potential of each individual and prepare our students to serve as leaders of character in tomorrow’s world This report is both a recognition of your support and a celebration of the difference philanthropy makes in the life of our school.
During the 2024-25 school year, Webb received $3,000,022 in charitable giving. These resources provided for outstanding academic programs and state-of-the-art facilities, and supported the teachers and coaches who bring learning to life for our students each day. Your giving touches every corner of campus and every Webb experience.
While this report celebrates the generosity that sustained Webb during the 2024-25 school year, it also points us toward the future. This year, we have launched a renewed focus on growing our endowment and have reintroduced our planned giving program under a new name, the Robert and Julie Webb Society, honoring our school’s founders. We hope you will join us in celebrating the impact of philanthropy this past year and be encouraged to support new initiatives that will help ensure Webb remains strong for generations to come.

THE WEBB FUND –

Gifts to the Webb Fund are unrestricted gifts that are a vital part of the school’s operating budget. They provide immediate support for every aspect of the Webb experience – academic programs, arts, athletics, faculty development, and student life. The Webb Fund is Webb’s most important fundraising endeavor each year, and annual giving ensures that the school can deliver excellence today while maintaining the flexibility to respond to emerging needs throughout the year.

Designated and restricted gifts provide vital support for special projects at Webb School, allowing donors to direct their generosity to areas that match their passions and interests. Designated giving has helped fund new lighting for athletic facilities, financial aid for deserving students, books for the school libraries, equipment for the soccer program, Upper School renovations, and locker room improvements. These gifts have an immediate and visible impact on campus, helping to ensure that the programs and projects that matter most to our community continue to succeed.
ENDOWMENT GIFTS –

Gifts to the Webb endowment provide lasting financial stability, ensuring that future generations of Spartans benefit from the same excellence our students experience today. Endowment support enhances Webb’s ability to recruit and retain exceptional faculty, sustain innovative programs, and keep tuition more accessible. By growing the endowment, donors help secure Webb’s long-term future, making certain the school remains strong and vibrant for decades to come. This past year, gifts to the Webb endowment included support for specific financial aid funds as well as contributions made through recent capital campaigns for campus building projects.
WHY YOUR GIFTS MATTER
OVER 60 PERCENT OF WEBB’S RESOURCES ARE INVESTED DIRECTLY IN PEOPLE –OUR TEACHERS, COACHES, AND MENTORS WHO INSPIRE AND GUIDE STUDENTS EVERY DAY. THE REMAINING FUNDS SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS, FACILITIES, AND SERVICES THAT BRING THE WEBB EXPERIENCE TO LIFE, FROM CLASSROOMS AND LABORATORIES TO ATHLETICS, ARTS, AND CAMPUS OPERATIONS. TOGETHER, THESE INVESTMENTS ENSURE THAT WEBB REMAINS A PLACE WHERE STUDENTS ARE CHALLENGED, CARED FOR, AND PREPARED FOR LIVES OF PURPOSE.
Where does Webb’s revenue come from? I thought tuition covered everything.
• 88% of Webb’s annual operating budget comes from tuition.
• 8% of the remaining budget revenue is powered by philanthropy – gifts to the Webb Fund and income from our endowment. That 8% makes an outsized impact, fueling opportunities and experiences that tuition alone could never cover.
• The remaining 4% of Webb’s operating revenue comes from Camp Webb, the school bookstore, auxiliary services, and student activity fees.

SINCE ITS FOUNDING AS THE ANNUAL FUND IN 1962, THE WEBB FUND HAS PLAYED an essential role in maintaining the school’s legacy of distinction. It provides the momentum behind Webb’s continued growth, ensuring the school delivers a dynamic, well-rounded education to every student, year after year. While tuition covers much of what makes a Webb education possible, it doesn’t cover everything. The Webb Fund bridges that crucial gap – elevating programs and people by providing flexible resources that allow Webb to respond, innovate, and excel. Every gift directly supports the school’s day-to-day operations, bringing Webb’s mission to life in every classroom, lab, stage, and athletic field.

Webb hosted two signature events in 2025 – the Green & White Gala and the inaugural Brushes & Bids –each celebrating community, honoring donors, and advancing the school’s mission. The Green & White Gala welcomed Crane Society members for an elegant evening of friendship, as Webb’s leadership expressed deep gratitude for their vision and enduring impact. As a prelude to ArtXtravaganza 2025, Brushes & Bids transformed the Bailey Family Fitness & Training Center into a festive venue for dinner, drinks, music, and exclusive artwork by featured artist Ryan Blair. A silent auction of more than 50 unique packages rounded out an evening of artful connection.
