After Florence Court... what's next? The 1.3 million dollar sale at Florence Court last month proved that recession or not, the market will respond with enthusiasm when a fine collection of art and antiques is put up for sale. The next major event in the auction calendar will take place over four days when Webb's relocates its premises to 18 Manukau Road, off Broadway, Newmarket. To celebrate the occasion, Webb's is to offer a superb catalogue of fine paintings, furniture, jewellery, silver and collectibles including one evening devoted entirely to important nineteenth and twentieth century New Zealand art and including New Zealand furniture and Maori Art. The four day sale comprises items from numerous private collections and estates including a large collection of gold and silver pocket watches. As with the Florence Court sale, this sale will attract many Australian buyers and sellers are afforded the opportunity to have their items offered to a wider than usual market. Contact Webb's now to arrange for appraisals and advice regarding including pieces in this special sale.
