Beebe held an Obamacare Roundtable discussion on Tuesday, March 28th. This event detailed what is happening involving the universal health care law from an economic and legal point of view to educate students on the law.
Professor Yoo-Taek Lee will be presenting his paper “Moral and Strategic Imperatives for Corporate Social Responsibility at a Most Admired Korean Company” accepted to the OM Divisional program of the AOM Annual Meeting in Boston in August this year.
Dr. Rebecca Moryl will be presenting her paper “Local EcoWHY CAN’T WE GET WHAT WE WANT? nomic Development, Why Can’t Studying the Alignment of Local Economic Development Goals and Policies We Get What We Want? A Study of the Alignment of Local Economic Development Goals and Policies” at the 42nd annual Urban Affairs Association meeting in Pittsburgh, PA in April.
Professor Shuyi Jiang and Professor Rebecca Moryl will be presenting a paper entitled “Gold, Moonshine, and Occupy Wall Street: Do audio podcast based assignments engage students differently across learning styles?” at the American Economic Association meeting in Boston in June.

Colin Shea (Management, 2012), an editorial intern at The Warren Group is responsible for creating content for the print and online versions of Banker & Tradesman and The Commercial Daily. Colin puts together the “daily,” meaning he transforms PR reports into news stories for the firm’s website. Colin also does reporting for the print versions, including a professional byline as staff writer on the article “Local Credit Union Brings Banking Services to Members’ Workplace,” which appeared in the March 12 issue of Banker & Tradesman.
