Red Sox Foundation 50/50 Raffle: Coordinate our 50/50 raffle, which runs off of a computerized ticketing system where volunteers collect cash from fans who purchase a ticket. At the end of each night a winner is chosen and that winner receives ½ of the total “pot” collected from that night. This person will be needed for all home games and must arrive at ballpark 3 hours before the game starts th and stay through the 6 inning. He/she will assist with daily setup, operation and breakdown of the raffle. Red Sox Nation/Kid Nation: Provide day-of-game marketing, sales, and customer-service support to the Red Sox Nation and Kid Nation membership programs. Assist in setting up and closing down Red Sox Nation/Kid Nation booths and sell memberships for both programs. Track inventories and maintain a detailed database of customer interactions. THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU APPLY Security: Interact with our fans and guests in a friendly, polite manner. Be Game Commitment: Just as Red Sox players are expected observant and proactively identify disruptive fan behavior. Duties include fan to show up ready to play every day, so is our staff. The right staff member will love kids and be energetic, outgoing, and friendly. Duties include setup and breakdown of the activities (including some light lifting), managing lines, distributing prizes, and engaging children and parents. Yawkey Way Ushers: Escort neighborhood residents across Yawkey Way so that they can more easily reach their destinations. Responsible for greeting game-day guests and all others we welcome at the park. Ensure that our guests and neighborhood friends are always met with a friendly face, reducing inconveniences for those who visit, work, and live in the surrounding area.
