A Shared Investment At Emmanuel, we know that a college education is a worthwhile investment that can reap great rewards. We also understand that paying for a quality private education can be a challenge. This is why we are committed to making a liberal arts and sciences education affordable. We believe that paying for an Emmanuel education is a partnership between the student, their family and the College.  Students invest in their education by applying for scholarships and grants, and by borrowing with low-cost federal student loans.  Parents contribute to their children’s education from savings, current income, tax credits and through lowcost parent loans.  Emmanuel College supports our students by offering merit-based scholarships and need-based grant aid, and by participating in all federal and state funding options.

Office of Student Financial Services How do I apply for need-based aid?

To apply for federal, state and Emmanuel College need-based financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year, students must complete: 1. The 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov after January 1, 2012. To electronically sign the FAFSA, both the student and a parent need to obtain a PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov. We strongly encourage students to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool provided on the FAFSA. 2. The 2012-2013 Emmanuel College Application for Financial Aid, which is available online under the “Tuition & Aid” section of www.emmanuel.edu. Although our priority filing date is February 15, 2012, we encourage you to complete these applications as soon after January 1st as possible. If you will not have your 2011 taxes completed by the priority filing date, we encourage you to use estimates based on your W-2s and/or last year’s taxes. part-time job opportunities for students? Are there Emmanuel College strives to assist students with educational costs by offering on and off campus part-time employment opportunities. On-campus employment opportunities are available in academic departments, the residence halls and in administrative offices such as the library and athletic offices. All students are eligible to apply for on-campus positions; however, a limited number of off-campus partnerships are only available to students awarded Federal Work Study. In addition to the positions available through Emmanuel College, our location affords students the opportunity to find off-campus positions within walking distance of the campus.
