Mansão Curtorim
NEWLY OPENED
Travellers who want to experience the “other side” of Goa, India’s iconic beachside paradise, can immerse themselves in nature, history and heritage at Mansão Curtorim, a 236-year-old Indo-Portuguese villa which has been thoughtfully revived by CGH Earth.
Nestled amid tropical gardens, coconut groves and rice fields, yet within easy reach of Goa’s pristine coast, this enchanting property offers just 650 square metres of interior space, capturing the essence of a luxurious private home. Only six rooms are available, all adorned with elegant interiors, including tiled floors, wooden furniture and authentic local elements.
This intimate property provides the perfect base from which to uncover the natural and cultural treasures of Goa, including Curtorim village and the Church of St. Alex, which dates from the 1500s. Rural trails invite visitors to take scenic strolls or bike rides around Maina Lake and along the Zuari River, and South Goa’s uncrowded beaches are just a short distance away.
The hotel’s library is a relaxing setting to reflect on a day of adventures. At mealtimes, two distinct spaces – a garden terrace and a social dining room with a long table – set the stage for home-cooked cuisine, including classic Goan dishes crafted with fresh ingredients.
The eighth unique property in CGH Earth’s portfolio, Mansão Curtorim is a charming option for curious explorers who crave a different way of travelling that offers a genuine connection to the destination.
