From April 2024 to now, our Money Matters team has secured over £2.7 million in extra income for 517 different Weaver Vale customers. This total has come from 1236 financial outcomes across all welfare benefits and supporting customers in debt.

Download the FREE My Account app, to manage your tenancy with us online. From booking a repair, seeing scheduled home improvements and paying your rent, it's easy with My Account.
It's completely free to download and means you can manage your tenancy wherever you are. The simple booking system allows you to select a date that suits you, direct from your phone, tablet or computer.

If you are migrating to Universal Credit, to continue receiving financial support, you must claim Universal Credit by the deadline date given in your letter. This is 3 months from the date the letter was sent. If you cannot claim Universal Credit by the deadline date, you should contact the Universal Credit Migration Notice helpline as soon as possible. You can call them for free on 0800 328 5644, for more information and to make your claim please visit www.gov.uk.

If you are entitled to and awarded Pension Credit, you will qualify for the 2025 Winter Fuel Payment.
To apply for Pension Credit, you will need:
To be of State Pension Age and if you live with someone, then both of you need to be of State Pension Age (currently around 67 years old).
Your National Insurance Number.
Information about any income, savings and investments you have and your bank account details.

Our Employment Support team are a group of friendly, experienced people, who work in the local community to support people to get valuable life skills. The team can help anyone over 18 regardless of whether you’re working. The support is completely free to access and you don’t need to be a Weaver Vale tenant.
