THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2025

The Jockey Club would like to thank our Group Partners for their support in 2025

Welcome to Wincanton Racecourse and thank you for joining us for our second raceday of the season.
A huge congratulations to all the Keagan Kirkby Charity Race Riders, who have done a truly tremendous job, raising an extraordinary amount of money for our Charity of the Year, Horatio’s Garden. Thank you to all owners and trainers for your invaluable support in running your horses at Wincanton, which has helped make it a competitive and enjoyable day out on the track.
Our next fixture takes place on Thursday 4th December: the Priced Up Military Raceday. We’re offering a special dining package exclusively for serving and retired military personnel, simply visit the Information Point to learn more.
A heartfelt thank you to today’s sponsors: Molson Coors, Priced Up, and the Tolson Family
We hope you have a fantastic day with us, and we look forward to welcoming you back again very soon

3. Timeform view and TFR rating
Look out for the summary of leading course trainers before each race.
Listen out for any jockeys who are having a successful day.
OTHER USEFUL DETAILS
6. Owner’s colours worn by the Jockey
7. Saddlecloth number
8. Horse’s name
9. Days since the horse last run
10. Horse’s age
11. Jockey’s weight (stone and lbs)
12. The horse’s breeding – father (sire) and mother (dam)
13. Horse’s owner
14. Horse’s breeder
15. Birthplace of horse (outside GB)
Select your horse. Note their name and saddlecloth number
Choose your bet. ‘To win’ or ‘each-way’ are popular types of bet.
‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.
‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.
Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.
Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.
Collect. Once ‘Weighed-in’ has been announced, present your betting slip and collect any winnings.

Since moving to Somerset, I’ve been riding out for Paul Nicholls. Before that I did a short time riding out for George Boughey.

I’ve worked in racing for 13 years riding out for Andrew Balding, Warren Greatrex, Paul Nicholls and I am currently with Fergal O’Brien. I’ve worked for Fergal for 3 years now, My best day in racing was when I led up Highland Hunter, Keagan’s favourite horse, to win at Newbury not long after he passed away.

I’ve worked in racing for 15 years, started out at Victor Dartnall, followed by Jonjo O’Neill and am now into my seventh season at Paul Nicholls

I come from the south part of India. I started riding at 18 after finishing college. I used to ride race horses in India before joining Neil Mulholland Racing in 2023. I am happy to be a part of this team and they are so supportive. Neil gives me good rides every day. I love working in British racing.

I started riding horses when I went to the British Racing School in 2002. Since then I have worked for Chris Wall and have been at James Fanshawe’s for almost 3 years. Last winter I was lucky enough to spend 6 months with Gai Waterhouse in Australia.

I am an ex-Jockey I have worked in the racing industry for the last 30 years. I am currently a work rider for Keiran Burke

I’m in my second season working for Jeremy Scott, having joined at the end of September 2024 This is my first job in racing. Previously I have ridden ex-racehorses & I have just taken on my own ex-racehorse to retrain.
I have worked for Donald Whillans, Keith Reveley & Richard Fahey and rode a few winners as an amateur I was out of racing for 10 years before I started riding out part time for Syd Hosie.

BOOK OFTALES: Following its run on 31/10/2025 it was reported that the horse was never travelling.
Probable S.P’s: 7-2 Authoceltic (FR), 4-1 Star of Affinity (IRE), 9-2 Jaitroplaclasse (FR), 6-1 Juggernaut (FR), 7-1 Two To Tango (GB), 14-1 Rangatira Jack (GB), 20-1 Book of Tales (GB), 22-1 Chicago Storm (GB)
STAR OF AFFINITY is built for chasing and made an encouraging debut in this sphere when fourth at Chepstow on return 2 weeks ago He’s likely to improve on that and can provide another winner for his in-form yard A late error arguably prevented Authoceltic from making a winning chase bow at Newton Abbot and rates the main threat ahead of Jaitroplaclasse.
