PLAY SMARTER

French-recruit TOOTHLESS was most impressive when making a winning debut for this yard at Fakenham on New Year’s Day and he can quickly resume winning ways having scoped dirty at Musselburgh. Marley Head showed fair ability on the level for a jumping yard so is selected for the forecast.

Great British Bonus Scheme

TODAY’S RACE SPONSOR RICHARD LINLEY

WINCANTON RACECOURSE WOULD LIKE TO THANK RICHARD LINLEY FOR HIS YEARS

Richard Linley retired from riding in 1987 and has since overseen some fundamental changes in British Horseracing given his role of Senior Inspector of Courses, including the outlaw of gorse in hurdles, the introduction of One Fit Padded Hurdles, redevelopments of weighing room standards, behind closed doors racing and Orange to White obstacles more recently

Richard, who oversaw the racecourse inspectorate department for the sports regulator is concluding his final jumps season before deserved retirement. Wincanton and Exeter Racecourses would like to pay Richard their huge gratitude to the passionate guidance he has offered, first-rate advice about how to raise standards and the many valuable recommendations for track, fences and stables over a number of years. Thank you, Richard.
