RACE DESCRIPTION This three miles and 45 yards handicap steeple chase has been designed for five-yearolds and upwards which are rated from 0 to 120. In most National Hunt handicaps, there is a minimum weight of 10st so any horse whose official rating would allocate them less than that still has to shoulder that burden. The horses that fall into this category are said to be racing from ‘out of the handicap’ – usually a distinct disadvantage.

PLAY SMARTER
MOROZOV COCKTAIL relished the emphasis on stamina as he matched the pick of his hurdling form on just his second chase start when scoring over C&D 3 weeks ago, proving most determined as he came clear with the runner-up, and a 6lb rise may underestimate him. Glittering Love responded well to blinkers when taking advantage of a reduced mark at Carlisle, while Party Fuzz shaped well on chase bow.
