The weights are headed by the 132-rated Pull Again Green, with Fergal O’Brien’s eight-year-olddown1lbforasatisfactory run when third at Worcester last month. That was a stronger race than this and if he stays the longer trip, Liam Harrison’s mount has to be taken very seriously. That was his first chase start since last November and the son of Kalinisi –who looked hugely promising during his novice hurdle season (2021-2022) –remainslightly-racedoverfences.
With Pull Again Green topping the weights, it means that Christian Williams’ Planned Paradise gets in at the foot of thehandicap,despitebeingratedjust110.
Another eight-year-old, he is much more exposed as a chaser but has been in consistentformthroughthesummerand is just 3lbs higher than when successful on good ground at Perth. More will be required here but Jack Tudor’s mount should appreciate going back up in distance.
