Race Description This is a one mile and four furlongs handicap race for three-year-olds and upwards fillies and mares only which have been rated from 51 to 70. Once a horse has qualified for a handicap rating this is regularly reassessed. A below-par effort could result in a reduced rating whilst a strong performance could see the rating increased. Occasionally, horses are entered to race before their handicap rating has been reviewed and so to avoid recent winners being un-penalised they are allotted a mandatory penalty – usually 6lb

The way looks clear for LADY RASCAL to add to her recent success at Salisbury where, once again, she left the impression that moving up to this trip would be very much in her favour Fox Flame understandably struggled in the Lingfield Oaks Trial last month and is likely to give it a good shot back in calmer waters. Handicap-debutante Folk Star is also of interest.
