Race Description
This two miles and half a furlong handicap hurdle race has been designed for four-year-olds and upwards fillies and mares which are rated from 0 to 100. In most National Hunt handicaps, there is a minimum weight of 10st so any horse whose official rating would allocate them less than that still has to shoulder that burden. The horses that fall into this category are said to be racing from ‘out of the handicap’ –usually a distinct disadvantage.

Probable S.P’s: 13-2 Joyful Kit (IRE), 8-1 Amelia’s Dance (IRE), Gaot (FR), 9-1 Sindabella (FR), 10-1 Sawpit Sienna (GB), 11-1 No No Tonic (GB), 12-1 Miss M (IRE), 16-1 Monete (GER), West On Sunset (FR), 18-1 Minnie Escape (GB), Dolly McQueen (GB), 25-1 September Daisy (GB), 28-1 Wilderness (GB), Blue Heather (IRE), 50-1 Miss Marette (GB), 66-1 The Cilleens (IRE), 80-1 Vinnie’s Icon (IRE) Unsurprisingly claims can be made for a whole host in a tricky finale and it may well be worth chancing GAOT. Below her best at Exeter in December, she previously highlighted she’s on a workable mark when runner-up in a big-field event at that venue and bounce back is distinctly possible back at this shorter trip. No No Tonic, Sawpit Sienna, Minnie Escape and Amelia’s Dance head up the dangers.
