Providing stunning views as the horses approach the last fence and thunder towards the winning post. The Paddock Pavilion package comprises of a three course meal & afternoon tea.
There are various other food outlets around site, which change on a regular basis.
There are a variety of bars throughout the racecourse, serving a selection of beer, spirits, wine, champagne and soft drinks.
Welcome to this the first day of our 2024 of our season. The wet winter weather has not be kind to the course and our buildings. We have had water throughout all the buildings to a depth of over a 1.5m in places, on not one but four occasions in the last eight weeks. We have done our very best to make sure racing goes ahead, however numerous internal areas have not been repainted because the walls are still damp We are sorry and hope this doesn’t spoil your enjoyment of the day. Hopefully we will have fully redecorated by the 6th April.
All of us here at Stratford Racecourse are committed to
ensuring that you have a great day out. If you have any suggestions, complaints, questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us We can be reached either on the day, or later by contacting the office on 01789 267949, or by email: info@stratfordracecourse.net
Enjoy your day at Stratford Races and we hope to see you again soon.
With best wishes,

“Racing’s top priority is the safety and welfare of horse and rider”. Like most sports racing carries risks, however, we work to make sure that no death or injury occurs, which could have been prevented. Here at Stratford Racecourse we are committed to minimising risks, dealing quickly and humanely with injuries, and maintaining the highest possible quality of life for the animals in our care. At every meeting we have two specially qualified Equine Vets appointed to look after the welfare of all horses in action There is also a British Horseracing Authority Vet in attendance. During the race two vets follow the action from the centre of the course and can attend to a horse in the same response time as the Paramedic Teams responsible for treating the injured jockeys.
It is standard policy that in the event of a horse requiring veterinary treatment whilst on site, screens will be erected round the horse It is designed to afford the vet and the patient some privacy. Please do not assume the worst.
In the event of an emergency all persons on the racecourse will be alerted by the following message over the public address system.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, racing has been temporarily suspended Would all patrons please evacuate ALL buildings and make your way across the racetrack to the Red post marker in the Centre of the Course. Police and Racecourse Officials will assist and direct you. Please do not go to any Car Park until you are cleared to do so, because you may hamper the movement of emergency vehicles The message will then be repeated.

6. Some course bookmakers have minimum stakes e.g. £1, £5 or £10 but small backers are catered for in the racecourse Betting Shops.
In conjunction with The RCA, the bookmakers have introduced standard each-way terms Bookmakers will provide these terms, or better, when offering each-way betting.

RACE SUMMARY:
MORTENS LEAM remains 12lb below his last winning mark following a 3lb nudge for his back-to-form second at Taunton where he pulled a long way clear of the third. The 12-y-o clearly retains a fair level of ability judged on that effort and he is an appealing alternative to Enjoy Your Life, who got back on track last month and is greatly respected. Morning Spirit’s record stands at 1-14 over fences and he will need to return to his best in order to trouble the aforementioned rivals.
