Good afternoon and a warm welcome to the finale of the Sky Bet Sunday Series, an afternoon of exciting and competitive racing which draws to a close a series of fixtures which have offered over £1.2million in prize money. With £230,000 in prize money and over £200,000 on offer in further bonuses for participants, we are set for a hugely exciting afternoon. Our thanks go to Sky Bet for their generous sponsorship of today’s card and the series as a whole Away from the track this afternoon we have plenty of entertainment for our younger racegoers, including The Flying Seagull Project whose mixture of comedy, clowning magic and circus also benefits those who face hardship and crisis across the world.

Looking beyond today we have much to look forward to with the final two Flat fixtures of 2022 on 9th and 14th September ending with Breeders’ Day, which aims to highlight Britain’s extraordinary thoroughbred breeding industry and the opportunities it can provide. Thank you for choosing to spend your afternoon with us I hope you enjoy your time with us and we wish the best of luck to the horses and their connections who are racing today.

TIMEFORM PREDICTION:

PLAY SMARTER A tricky opener to solve but preference is for MISS ATTITUDE. Mick Channon’s filly found quite a bit of further improvement to make a winning nursery debut at Newbury 9 days ago and arriving very much on the upgrade, she’s fancied to complete a quick-fire hat-trick. Safari Dream heads up the opposition after his comfortable success under a change of tactics on handicap bow over C&D last month, while Once More For Luck is another who could have a say in proceedings starting out in nurseries. 1.MISS ATTITUDE 2.SAFARI (IRE) 3.ONCE MORE FOR LUCK (IRE)

Cases can be made for most of these but the most compelling is for SPIRIT OF THE BAY.
