William Knight, Newmarket T B Gerry Flannery Developments Tattersalls, Oakman Group PLC S TIMEFORM VIEW Improved performer this year, successful at Newcastle in May and quickened in good style when seeing off seven rivals over this C&D last month. Good second to Hamaki (winner again since) on subsequent handicap bow at Haydock and it’s likely that he has more to offer. TFRHHHII BHA91 16 SECRET BOX (GB) (435) 3/441- CD 4 8-6 (14)

Br B g Le Havre (IRE) - Red Box (Exceed And Excel (AUS)) Luke Morris J O Cheveley Park Stud Sir Mark Prescott Bt, Newmarket T B Cheveley Park Stud Limited Cheveley Park Stud S TIMEFORM VIEW Plenty of promise in maiden/novice company and he was well on top at the finish when making a successful handicap debut over this C&D in June 2021. Subsequent absence an obvious concern, but this unexposed 4-y-o will be of strong interest if the market vibes are upbeat. TFRHHHII BHA81 17 VEE SIGHT (GB) (23) 054-14 C

Jimmy Quinn J Ralph Beckett, Kimpton Down T B Lawn Stud Dunlin S TIMEFORM VIEW Gelded during the winter and duly improved when making a winning reappearance/handicap debut over 9f here in June (form of that race is strong). DECLARED RUNNERS 17 2021: KING OF CLUBS 3 8 2 Hollie Doyle 5-2 (Hughie Morrison) 11 ran

Hood worn by No. 2. Visor worn by No. 5, 9. Tongue Strap worn by No. 4. Sheepskin Cheek Pieces worn by No. 7. Stewards Note: BELLOCCIO: Following its run on 13/5/2022 it was reported that the horse would prefer a slower surface. FANTASTIC FOX: Following its run on 15/6/2022 it was reported that the horse would prefer an easier surface. VEE SIGHT: Following its run on 28/7/2022 it was reported that the horse hung badly right handed.

Probable S.P’s: 13-2 Ajero (IRE), 7-1 Protagonist (FR), Migdam (FR), 15-2 Knight of Honour (IRE), 8-1 Vee Sight (GB), 11-1 Secret Box (GB), 12-1 Dual Identity (IRE), 20-1 Good Birthday (IRE), 22-1 Croeso Cymraeg (GB), 25-1 Fantastic Fox (GB), 28-1 Belloccio (FR), Dubai Horizon (IRE), 33-1 Arqoob (IRE), 40-1 Yorkshire Lady (GB), Asgoodassobergets (FR), 66-1 Palavecino (FR), Victory Chime (IRE)

This looks very competitive indeed, with several making plenty of appeal. Top of the list is VEE SIGHT, who scored in good style here in June and subsequently did well to finish as close as he did when fourth at Glorious Goodwood, having looked all at sea on that idiosyncratic track. He has a feather weight and while stall 16 isn’t ideal, it’s not insurmountable either. Ajero is feared most, while Protagonist and Knight of Honour are also high on the shortlist, along with Dual Identity. TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.VEE SIGHT 2.AJERO (IRE) 3.PROTAGONIST (FR)
