WELCOME TO SALISBURY RACECOURSE

Thank you for joining us for tonight’s race meeting – the second of our two Saturdays in July.

We last raced two weeks ago at what was a very unseasonably windy and cool Ladies’ Evening. Whereas June was a very dry and warm month, July has been very mixed with plenty of rain. At the time of writing though, the forecast for tonight looks favourable, so let us hope that proves to be the case.

We have six races to enjoy, and then a set of music by celebrity Scott Mills.

We are particularly delighted to welcome Scott, as we were originally due to have him perform at Salisbury in the summer of 2020.

There is still plenty to look forward to at Salisbury over the next couple of months including some of our major races, and one more music night on Friday 1st September, which has an excellent Coldplay tribute band on stage after the racing.
