TODAY’S TIPS

Race One

Watcha Matey sets the standard of those to have raced after stepping forward from his introduction to fill the runner-up spot at Haydock He may put that experience to good use against some interesting newcomers, but JUBILEE WALK cost 185,000 euros at the Goffs Orby sale and James Ferguson's colt, who is related to several winners, gets the vote to make a winning debut Aragon Castle and Dancing Gemini are others worth noting.

WIN: JUBILEE WALK

RACE TWO

DANGER: WATCHA MATEY

GrandfatherTomcompletedaquickfirehat-trickatLeicester,buthehashadthebenefitofhisjockeys'claimson hislastcoupleofstartsandfacesastiffertask Withthatinmind, thevotegoestoREDREDROBIN,whoisanother arriving in fine fettle, making it three wins from her last four starts over 6f here, and Malcolm Saunders' mare is unlikely to have any issue dropping back in trip Saaheq and Just Glamorous appeal most of the remainder

WIN: REDREDROBIN

RACE THREE

DANGER: GRANDFATHER TOM

Ralph Beckett has already sent out two juvenile winners here this season and SLEVEN may well add to that tally A 60,000gns purchase at the Craven Breeze-Up sale, the son of Acclamation is expected to know his job and could potentially get the better of rivals that have already shown promise, including Equity Law, who finished runner-up over C&D on debut Rednblue Sovereign and Luas complete the shortlist.

WIN: SLEVEN

Race Four

DANGER: EQUITY LAW

SKYSAIL appeals as just the type to continue improving after a comfortable success on his return at Goodwood last month. The son of Tasleet relished the step up to a mile on that occasion and he should have too much for surprise Southwell winner Swift Lioness and Helm Rock, who has been knocking on the door of late with some solid efforts in defeat

WIN: SKYSAIL

Race Five

DANGER: SWIFT LIONESS

RAJASTHAN ran two highly creditable races as a two-year-old behind some classy individuals and he should be primed to go on his return. The step up in trip is a major plus and the well-bred son of Dubawi gets the vote ahead of Spectacular Style, who ran a race full of promise when second to a stable companion of the selection's on debut at Redcar Sgian Dubh is one with experience of the track and could benefit from the drop in distance.

WIN: RAJASTHAN

Race Six

DANGER: SPECTACULAR STYLE

Krona has shown significant improvement since going handicapping, bolting up at Kempton and Southwell. She will need to transfer that form to the turf, though, so she is passed over in favour of NADER KING, who could improve for this step up in trip after he was beaten into third behind a subsequent Royal Ascot winner over 1m2f at Newbury. Maasai Mara takes a step down in grade following a good fourth at the Derby meeting and has to be respected.

WIN: NADER KING

Race Seven

DANGER: KRONA

PERFECT GENTLEMAN put a Kempton disappointment behind him when runner-up at Yarmouth and he only has to compete off a 1lb higher rating. He is also aided by the services of Harry Davies, who claims 3lb, so he might be tough to beat Racing Demon stuck his neck out to triumph at Chepstow and he can go well once more off 3lb higher, while Commission's handicap debut on his Goodwood comeback was ordinary but he can't be written off just yet.

WIN: PERFECT GENTLEMAN

DANGER: RACING DEMON

Race Summary: The market should reveal plenty in this juvenile maiden and James Ferguson’s JUBILEE WALK, bred to be useful, is taken to go in at the first time of asking ahead of fellow newcomer Aragon Castle. Watcha Matey appeals as the best of those with experience and can claim minor honours once more.

The INSPIRE Foundation are delighted to be back at Salisbury Races. The highlight from last year was having our Patron, Freddy Tylicki with us (pictured right) who made a huge impact on raising our profile and encouraging lots of donations. This afternoon we are extremely grateful again to Whitsbury Manor Stud who are generously sponsoring the 2.40pm; ‘Whitsbury www.inspire-foundation.org.uk

INSPIRE is a medium sized, national charity which raises funds for a scientific programme to ‘research independence, quality of life and dignity after spinal cord injury’ (SCI). Such injuries are life changing, often permanent and affect approximately 50,000 people in the UK, with three new cases every day. Unlike other larger research charities, we receive no NHS or Government funding support, so are committed to generating all necessary funds.

Please come and support our charity by making a donation and wearing a distinctive INSPIRE Foundation rosette. Or why not buy a raffle ticket and the chance to win a beautiful ‘Nobility’ statue by renowned sculptress Harriet Glen.

You will find our information stand outside the Wessex Bar and our buckets at the exits to Salisbury Racecourse.

Thank you for your support.
