WELCOME TO SALISBURY RACECOURSE

A warm welcome to Salisbury for our ‘Coronation Weekend Family Race Day’.

We are delighted that you have chosen to come to the races today, as we acknowledge that there is lots going on this weekend, in celebration of the big event. The weather is forecasted to stay dry, which is great news.

The first race meeting of our season took place three days ago. It is always good to open the gates and welcome back our customers, industry colleagues, and participants (both two-legged and four-legged), after the long seven months that we do not race.

Our thanks to trainer Andrew Balding and his wife Anna-Lisa for kindly sponsoring our races this afternoon. We gladly welcome some of their Kingsclere team, owners, and business partners, but Andrew himself will be at Newmarket, for the featured race meeting there. We will be showing the QIPCO 1,000 Guineas on the screens around the course, which will include previous Salisbury winners, Remarquee and Polly Pott, in the line-up. Thank you again for supporting us today. The directors and staff hope that you have a very enjoyable afternoon.
