UNPLUGGED was shaping up well in the winter, unlucky not to finish closer when third at Newcastle when last seen in December, and remains of interest back from a break. Crema Inglesa lost little in defeat when second to a useful prospect at Windsor 11 days ago and is next best ahead of recent Southwell-winner Golden Keeper.

PLAY SMARTER
There was more than enough in DANCING GYPSY’s penultimate run at Doncaster to think he’s got a bigger performance in him at some stage so, provided he can leave a below-par effort behind earlier this month, John O’Shea’s 3-y-o is put forward as the answer Cantalupo Bella resumed her progress when third at Wolverhampton recently so she may emerge as the main danger, ahead of Absolute Queen and Butterfly Effect.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
The Racecourse Executive would like to thank our sponsors today

There are 3 stations in Pontefract – Monkhill, Baghill and Tanshelf. Pontefract Tanshelf is more or less opposite the entrance to the Park, whereas Monkhill and Baghill stations are more centrally located in Pontefract and are around 2 to 3 miles from the course. If you don’t fancy the walk through the Town, taxis are available at the stations.
There is a fourth station at Glasshoughton which adjoins the Xscape complex. This is a couple of miles from the Racecourse. If you have some time to kill, from near Glasshoughton Station (starting in the car park to B&Q!), there is a lovely walk through the Park to the Racecourse. It will take around 45 minutes.
