Liam Roberts was named the Northampton Town InTown Automotive player of the season as voted for by readers of the Chronicle & Echo at the club’s end of season dinner recently.

In the voting for the InTown Automotive Player of the Season, Liam Roberts claimed 68% of the vote, with Mitch Pinnock second, Sam Hoskins was third with Fraser Horsfall fourth. Meanwhile, Club Secretary Nick Ancel received an EFL long service award.

The winner of this season’s Frank Large Supporter of the Year award was Lee Geary.
Lee is a loyal Cobblers fan who has attended over 1,500 consecutive Cobblers games (behind closed doors restrictions permitting of course.)

Before the game with Exeter City, popular kit man Adam Moreton was the recipient of the Tommy Fowler Merit Award.
The award was in recognition of Adam’s work for the club.
The Tommy Fowler Merit Award is awarded by the Fowler family each year, and is often handed to someone who works behind the scenes to recognise the work they do for the club.

The winner of this play-off semi-final will play the winners of the other semi-final between Port Vale and Swindon Town in the Sky Bet League 2 play-off final at Wembley on Saturday May 28th with a 4pm kick off.
