Complimentary Official Racecard & Form Guide
Welcome
A very warm welcome to Perth Racecourse for the Racing TV Raceday and a rather unexpected return to racing at Scone Palace Park! Just when we thought our 2026 season had come to a close, we were delighted to be given the opportunity to stage this additional fixture, giving us one more chance to enjoy an afternoon of competitive National Hunt racing here at Perth. Following a fantastic Glorious Finale in September, today’s bonus raceday offers owners, trainers, jockeys and racegoers the opportunity to return to Perth as the winter jumps season gets into full swing. We are delighted to see horses and connections travelling to join us today and look forward to another exciting afternoon on the track. Our sincere thanks go to Racing TV for their support of today’s fixture and for their continued coverage and promotion of racing at Perth throughout the season. We would also like to thank all of the owners, trainers, jockeys and stable staff represented on today’s card. Their continued support of Perth Racecourse is hugely appreciated, and we wish every runner and connection the very best of luck this afternoon. Of course, a special thank you also goes to you, our racegoers. We thought we had said goodbye for the season, so it is wonderful to welcome so many of you back for one last-minute racing fix and another opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of jumps racing at Perth. From everyone at Perth Racecourse, thank you for joining us for this unexpected bonus to our 2026 season. Wrap up, enjoy the racing and may the winners be plenty!

HORSE WELFARE Racing’s top priority is the safety and welfare of horse and rider. People join the racing industry because they share a genuine love for horses. Like most sports, racing carries risks, however, we work to ensure that no death or injury occurs which could have been prevented. Horses have the right to a decent and fulfilling life. We are committed to minimising risks, dealing quickly and humanely with injuries and maintaining the highest possible quality of life for the animals in our care. It is now standard practice for screens to be erected around any horse receiving veterinary attention on the course. This does not reflect the severity of the injury, but allows the vet some privacy in which to administer treatment and provides the horse with a calm environment in which to make a recovery. Please therefore do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse.
