‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.

‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.

Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.

Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.

Collect. Once ‘Weighed-in’ has been announced, present your betting slip and collect any winnings.

ZENO: Following its run on 4/3/2023 it was reported that the horse hung left handed under pressure.

STOCKS PARK: Following its run on 26/11/2022 it was reported that the horse hung right handed on the bend.

Probable S.P’s: 5-6 Tajalla (IRE), 11-2 Eternal Class (GB), 8-1 McCauley’s Tavern (IRE), 10-1 Fair Wind (GB), 16-1 Zeno (FR), Sera Dawn (GB), 100-1 Stocks Park (GB)

PLAY SMARTER

TAJALLA has presumably had his share of issues to be off the track for a year but his debut win at Newmarket was very taking. He’s in top hands so is taken to remain unbeaten, probably at the chief expense of Eternal Class and McCauley’s Tavern.

MOJO STAR may only have a maiden success to his name but he has proven himself to be high class with a numberoffine efforts in Group 1 company, not least when splitting Kyprios and Stradivarius in a thrilling finishtothe Gold Cup at RoyalAscot on his sole appearance in 2022. He appearsto beversatile ground-wise and is taken to lower the colours of last year’s winner Trueshan in what promises to be a fascinating clash between these two top-notch performers. Tashkhan is best ofthe rest.
