THE JOCKEY CLUB WELCOMES YOU
Welcome to Nottingham Racecourse. Welcome to Nottingham Racecourse for our annual Ladies Day, featuring seven exciting races. Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsor, Racing TV, for their generous support of today’s seven races. With action on and off the track today, we encourage you to use this racecard to plan your day. The Style Awards are back this year to celebrate the very best dressed people on course. This is free to enter until 2.30 at the Style Awards Marquee, and will be judged by Beatrice Turner from The Fair Edit, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. These include a £500 e-gift card, champagne, and a gift box from Hotel Chocolat. Four of today's races are qualifiers for our Jockey Club Grass Roots Final, which takes place back here on 28th September. The Series is aimed at offering enhanced prize money to horses who tend to do their racing at a notch or two below Group or Listed level. Once racing has finished, make sure you head back to the Style Awards Marquee for a live DJ set from DJ Titan, who will be playing some feel-good anthems to finish your day in style. Season tickets are still available to purchase either online or in the Racecourse Office, with some fantastic benefits on offer. Along with guaranteed access to all our racing fixtures, members receive a 10% discount on the Premier Restaurant experience, plus a chance to visit local Jockey Club Racecourses including Market Rasen, Huntingdon, Warwick, Newmarket, Haydock and Carlisle. Please visit the Racecourse Office, or ask one of our friendly on-site team if you are interested. Looking ahead to the rest of the summer, tickets are on sale for all our remaining racedays, which include Sparky’s Summer Party in Association with GEM Radio on Saturday 2 July. Enjoy a live DJ set following an evening of racing. Tickets are on sale via the Nottingham Racecourse website, or you can visit the office today. I hope that you have a fantastic time at Nottingham today and wish the horses and their connections the very best of luck. RICHARD PILKINGTON Chairman - Nottingham Racecourse

DECLARED RUNNERS 13 2021:NO CORRESPONDING RACE LAST YEAR Running for the first time since Gelding No. 1, 3, 5. Stewards Note: RAMPOLDI PLAN: Following its run on 1/4/2022 it was reported that the horse’s saddle slipped. MARTHA EDLIN: Following its run on 15/1/2022 it was reported that the horse hung right-handed. JENNYS JACK DANIEL: Following its run on 1/4/2022 it was reported that the horse resented the tacky ground.
PLAY SMARTER
RAMPOLDI PLAN was a warm order for his handicap debut at Southwell but his saddle slipped. With his yard banging in the winners lately, he’s worth chancing to set the record straight in a race that should play to his strengths (strong gallop seems likely). Recent Windsor scorer Midnight Train is an obvious threat and Geopolitic appeals as the sort to make a better 3-y-o, so he’s also considered.
