The Jockey Club would like to thank our Group Partners for their support in 2024

As a leading distributor of horse feed, bedding and supplements in the greater GCC area, I am once again immensely proud to support the Jockey Club at Newmarket Racecourses for the 2024 season. Newmarket is credited as being where thoroughbred racing first started which is why so many from every corner of the world assemble and appreciate The Rowley Mile and The July Course.
As ever, the enthusiasm of Sophie Able and her team at Newmarket translates into a top class service for Owners, Trainers, Jockeys and Stable Staff and for that we are deeply grateful.
I would like to wish all those visiting Newmarket throughout the 2024 season, the very best of luck.
Have a wonderful day at the races today.

DECLARED RUNNERS 9 2023: SILVER SAMURAI 6 10 0 Andrea Atzeni 17-2 (Marco Botti) 15 ran Visor, Tongue Strap worn by No 2. Sheepskin Cheek Pieces worn by No 4, 6, 9. Stewards Note:
EMINENCY: Following its run on 15/08/2024 it was reported that the horse lost a shoe.
MART: Following its run on 9/8/2024 it was reported that the horse was hampered leaving the stalls. Probable S.P’s: 7-2 First Folio (GB), 4-1 Fine Interview (FR), 11-2 Strike (GB), 13-2 Eminency (IRE), 11-1 Mister Bluebird (GB), 12-1 Archduke Ferdinand (IRE), Grenham Bay (IRE), 14-1 Mart (GB), 25-1 Good Karma (GB)
This looks an open renewal and with that in mind MISTER BLUEBIRD could well provide a spot ofvalue. He needs to shrug off a lesser effort at Yarmouth on his latest outing but he had previously been shaping asthough histurnwas near, and he’s now8lb lowerthanwhenthird inthis race 12 months ago
The class-dropping First Folio and 3-y-o Fine Interview could both be a threat, while Eminency will be a dangerto all if he bounces back from a below-par display at Windsor on Thursday.

WHEELS OF FIRE took a step forward from his promising debut effort when third in a Goodwood maiden 18 days ago and, with further progress anticipated, he looks to hold solid claims. Boxtel, who shaped well himself when second on debut at Newbury 4 weeks ago, looks sure to improve and is feared. Newcomers Fort Augustus, Panelli and Defence Minister also command a market check for positive vibes.

None ofthe quartet can be ruled out but the vote goes to AUTUMN DREAM who is fancied to build on her encouraging C&D fourth after an absence and get offthe mark. Fram Castle wasn’t seen to best effect when third at Newbury last time and rates the main threat, although One Cool Dreamer and Royal Praise also command plenty of respect.
