Burke, Leyburn T B Yulong Investments Yulong Stud TIMEFORM VIEW Improved on debut form dropped to the minimum trip when making all in a Wolverhampton novice in August. However, she found the company too hot in the Flying Childers next time and will probably come up short once again. TFRHIIII BHA91

B Grangemore Stud Clive Cox Racing Limited S TIMEFORM VIEW Off the mark at Nottingham in April and posted her best effort yet when third in a valuable York nursery (6f) at the Ebor meeting. Didn’t enjoy the best of runs at Windsor since but she’s probably flying too high here in any case. TFRHIIII BHA84

B Denniff Farms Ltd Tattersalls S TIMEFORM VIEW Followed clear-cut debut success with a fine effort in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot in June, finding just one too good in that 21-runner Group 2 contest. Subsequent efforts not so good but it would be unwise to write this filly off just yet. TFRHHHII BHA98

Br B f Cityscape - Rebecca Romero (Exceed And Excel (AUS)) William Buick J O Norman Court Stud Mick Channon, West Ilsley T B Mike Channon Bloodstock Limited TIMEFORM VIEW All-the-way winner of a Sandown maiden and Newbury nursery (both 5f) in August. By no means disgraced when fifth to Prince of Pillo at Ayr last time but there’s no real reason to anticipate a role reversal here. TFRHIIII BHA82

DECLARED RUNNERS 12 2021: TWILIGHT JET (IRE) 2 9 1 L F Roche 2-1 (M D O’Callaghan) 12 ran

Sheepskin Cheek Pieces worn by No. 4. Stewards Note: CLEARPOINT: Following its run on 19/8/2022 it was reported that the horse was moving poorly. Probable S.P’s: 13-8 Prince of Pillo (IRE), 11-2 Crispy Cat (GB), 7-1 Rogue Spirit (GB), 11-1 Wodao (FR), 12-1 Squealer (IRE), 14-1 Maylandsea (GB), 16-1 Clearpoint (GB), 22-1 Rumstar (GB), 40-1 Remarkable Force (IRE), 50-1 Lady Hamana (AUS), 66-1 Miss Attitude (GB), 150-1 Lost Angel (IRE)

PLAY SMARTER PRINCE OF PILLO was a place behind Crispy Cat in the Flying Childers but things didn’t go his way on that occasion and he showed what he’s capable of when running away with a listed race at Ayr next time. He looks a smart sprinter in the making and is hard to oppose. Crispy Cat should again make his presence felt and fellow Irish raider Wodao also merits respect. However, Rogue Spirit, who did the job well in a Haydock nursery 2 weeks ago, and the progressive Squealer can fill the places.

TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.PRINCE OF PILLO (IRE) 2.ROGUE SPIRIT 3.SQUEALER (IRE)
