Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.

Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.

Afairly useful handicapper on the Flat, NAPHAND opened his account overhurdles at the fourth attempt when scoring at Stratford last month and he looks to hold strong claims of following up The one to give him most to think about could be Squeezebox as he goes hurdling on first start for Tom Lacey, with Blazing Nelson the pick of the remainder

The vote in this trappy-looking contest goes to HAREL DU MARAIS, who will need to tackle the obstacles here with more fluency than he did at Southwell last time, particularly in the latter stages of the race, but his claims are otherwise pretty solid. Despite being 7lb out of the handicap, Prospect House is armed with a good record round here and he is feared most ahead of Mix of Clover and Dream Jet, in that order of preference. Hally’s Kitchen

Official equine ambassador for Market Rasen Racecourse

Hally’s Kitchen retired in 2020 following an unsuccessful National Hunt career while in training with Justin Landy, she ran nine times under rules and once in a point-to-point without troubling the judge. She is now owned by Samantha Hunt and is excelling in the show ring!

Hally (as she is known) has competed in several high profile shows including the RoR finals at Hickstead and in an SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse qualifier at Burghley Horse Trials.

Samantha describes Hally as kind and laid-back - she loves cuddles and being groomed!

Retraining of Racehorses

RoR is British Horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of horses that have retired from racing. The charity offers education for owners, establishes retraining practices and promotes the versatility of former racehorses in competitions across various disciplines.

The Horses for Courses scheme, supported by Godolphin, showcases the wide range of disciplines that racehorses go on to enjoy after their racing careers have ended, providing racegoers with an ongoing opportunity to meet and learn more about racing’s biggest stars – the horses!

OLIVERS TRAVELS has been shaping up well over fences of late, not ideally placed when third at Uttoxeter last time, and he could be ready take advantage of his lower mark back in this sphere. Heading the list of dangers is Of Course You Can, who ran well dropped back to this grade last time, with Halifax also considered with his recent run behind him.

PLAY SMARTER

Hat-trick seekers SIXTYPLUS and Game Beaaa are hardto ignore and, despitethe handicappertaking a big swipe at the former following his wide-margin Worcester victories last month, James Owen’s charge is taken to emerge on top. The assessor has also given Game Beaaa a hefty rise following her facile win here when last seen in June, but she is also expected to rise to the challenge. Zuul is interesting back here and is third choice ahead of Irish import Tankardstown Diva
