PLAY SMARTER
SWISS MONEY has a hurdles mark very similar to his Flat one so a fairly easy handicapping case can be made for him on the back of a more encouraging display at Kempton. Cofficionado should also be capable of doing some damage in a race like this, with Chicago Gal likely to give it a good go

FRIARY ROCK: Following its run on 5/1/2024 it was reported that the horse would prefer a quicker surface. TITANIUM BULLET: Following its run on 6/3/2024 it was reported that the horse lost its right-fore shoe.
Probable S.P’s: 3-1 Beat The Edge (IRE), 5-1 Titanium Bullet (IRE), 6-1 Okavango Delta (IRE), 13-2 Friary Rock (FR), 12-1 Our Bill’s Aunt (IRE), 14-1 Harry du Berlais (IRE), 18-1 Myburg (IRE), The Electrician (IRE), 100-1 Deja Rouge (FR)
A few ofthese arrive with question marks against them so this looks a good opportunity for TITANIUM BULLET to capitalise on a handy mark and gain a breakthrough success. Doncaster-third Okavango Delta is next on the list, with Friary Rock and Beat The Edge also in the picture if on their A-game.
Market Rasen racegoers have the opportunity to enjoy horse racing in surroundingsthat are secondto none, almost entirely due to the foresight and meticulous planning of Victor Lucas.
Introduced by his father-in-law,James Henry Nettleship, one ofthe six gentlemen responsible for the purchase of the Willingham Road site in 1924, Victor Lucas began as Starters Assistant before moving on to become Clerk of the Course and General Manager at the racecourse.
Victor Lucas officiated as Raceday Auctioneer travelling up and down the country bringing back valuable experience and ideas to his beloved Market Rasen. He ensured priority was given to viewing, accessibility for all and family racing, providing us with the legacy that we are so justifiably proud of. These amenities still in place today have been upgraded as time has passed and enjoyed by many loyal supporters over the years.
Victor Lucas masterminded the sale of the racecourse in the late 1960’s to what is now known as the Jockey Club, ensuring racing could continue at Market Rasen ‘for as far as the eye could see’
The Lucas family have an inextricable link to the history of the racecourse and have been involved at Market Rasen ever since the sale, providing invaluable support to ensure its future prosperity

FOX’S SOCKS has fared better back over hurdles on his last 3 starts, finishing closer than for a while when runner-up at Huntingdon 15 days ago, so he could be ready to take advantage of his current mark. Pollypockett was in good heart when last seen and could be the main danger back at this C&D, ahead of Iron Heart.
