Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants are very humbled to have the maiden hurdle race in remembrance of partner Lee Bradbury

Lee, was a partner based at the firm’s Louth office. He specialised in helping agriculture clients, coming from a farming background himself

He was an extremely well regarded and respected professional in his field.

Lee was sadly taken away from us on Friday 12 August 2022, at far too young an age He was a larger than life character with a unique sense of humour that endeared him to all those who came into contact with him. He will be sorely missed by all those whose life he touched.

In memory of Lee Bradbury October 1981 – August 2022

Probable S.P’s: 8-13 Chasing Fire (GB), 7-1 Dandy Maestro (GB), 8-1 Sassified (IRE), 16-1 Highland Getaway (IRE), Lopes Dancer (IRE), 22-1 Summer Moon (GB), 50-1 Embolden (IRE), 100-1 Kaylen’s Mischief (GB), 300-1 Diamant Sur Canape (FR), Fenno’s Soldier (IRE), Get Going (GB)

CHASING FIRE created a very good impression when landing a Wetherby bumper in March and will likely take a bit of stopping on this hurdle debut. It’s taken a bit of time for Sassified to make it back to the track for his hurdle debut but he showed fairly useful form on the Flat in Ireland and could be the one to give the selection most to do, particularly if there’s strength behind him in the betting. Dandy Maestro is another who switches to hurdles after reaching a decent level on the Flat.

Plenty are in with a shout. HIDDEN DEPTHS comes here on the back of a good second on the level at Ffos Las so is fancied to add to his Leicester hurdling success off an attractive mark. The returning Happy And Fine is also weighted to go well and feared most with cheekpieces fitted for the first time, although Belvedere Blast, Seinestaional and Betty Baloo need shortlisting too.
