Could YOU be a lifesaver? Read
HOW DOYOU RECOGNISECARDIACARREST?
It’s simple! No response and not breathing normally. The heart has a chaotic electrical rhythm, the pump action fails, brain blood flow stops, collapse follows in seconds, brain injury and death in minutes. IMMEDIATEACTION ISVITAL!

UK STATISTICS...

• After 2 mins theAED calls a pause to check if 2nd shock needed.
• Repeat CPR/shock cycle, share effort if help available.
• Don’t stop unless recovery seen, help arrives, or you become fatigued
• King Power used as venue for school staff training, several half-time pitchside CPR / AED demos and public awareness opportunities reaching over 100.000 members of the public;

• Alan Birchenall's support for Heartwize predated his own survival from cardiac arrest - a very visible triumph of immediate action to save a life! Alan's willingness to join us in schools occasionally is a powerful message;
• Generous donations helping create a generation of young lifesavers (>53,000 pupils trained);
• Current plans to add Heartwize training in Leicester's Premier Kicks youth football programme.
Our programme like so many others was stalled by Covid-19 but we are now returning to schools across the area. The focus is to form sustainable Heartwize volunteer panels for as many schools as we can reach. We seek just a small annual commitment from those with resuscitation skills to pass on to teenage pupils. Are you CPR trained and could you offer a few half days per year to join (or form) Heartwize training at your local secondary school?
