OTHER USEFUL DETAILS
6. Owner’s colours worn by the Jockey
7. Saddlecloth number
8. Horse’s name
9. Days since the horse last run
10. Horse’s age
11. Jockey’s weight (stone and Ibs)
12. The horse’s breeding – father (sire) and mother (dam)
13. Horse’s owner
14. Horse’s breeder
15. Birthplace of horse (outside GB)
Select your horse. Note their name and saddlecloth number
Choose your bet. ‘To win’ or ‘each-way’ are popular types of bet.
‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.
‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.
Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.
Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.
Collect. Once ‘Weighed-in’ has been announced, present your betting slip and collect any winnings.
1. FORM EXPERTVIEW 4. HORSE’STRAINER &THEIR LOCATION 5. JOCKEYSKempton Park has been at the heart of Sunbury-on-Thames since July 1878 when businessman S.H Hyde saw 400 acres of land ‘for sale or lease’ between Hampton Court and Sunbury on Thames and decided this would be the perfect location for a racecourse
We’ve seen some change in our 145 year history. From Royal visits and record 55,000 strong crowds in 1955 to the redevelopment of the state of the art, floodlit All Weather Track in 2006 – we’ve moved with the times and now is the time to put ourselves firmly back in the community

Not so long ago we were approached by Tonie & Jenny from St Saviours in Sunbury and told about “Our Gracie”. Gracie is only 2 years old and has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia.
They, along with friends and colleagues of the family from the Community foodbank, decided that organising a sponsored walk was a good way to support the family The team at Kempton Park were more than happy to facilitate the walk and provide advice, security, a safe environment and a support team for the event held on the 22nd April at Kempton Park A GoFundMe page has been set up for “Our Gracie” and any donations are gratefully appreciated.

PLAY SMARTER
LATITUDE and Duc de Beauchene could be the pair to concentrate on. The latter coasted home at Wincanton recently and, still feasibly treated despite going up 11lb, he is not passed over at all lightly. However, the up-and-coming Latitude probably has more to offer on the back of his clear-cut Ludlow success and he is marginally preferred. Several make each-way appeal, with Good Boy Bobby just about the pick of them ahead of Danny Kirwan and Hiway One O Three.
