It is a pleasure to welcome all Owners, Trainers and Racegoers to Britain’s Most Scenic Racecourse, we hope everyone enjoys the live action on the track here, featuring the most important 3yo race of the day “The Juvenile Hurdle” as well as racing on TV ‘s and the large screen from Epsom where the Derby is taking place todays richest 3yo race

Due to recent industry discussions and an announcement by the BHA, in 2024 and 2025 could see the first race at this and our other Saturday fixtures in May and June going off at 4.00pm instead of a usual start time of between 1.00pm – 2.00pm. This is due to the creation by the BHA of Premier Fixtures which will be allowed to run races in a protected time slot of between 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Hexham does not meet the criteria for a Premier Fixture therefore we will be pushed into a later starting time We will keep everyone updated once the BHA finalise details and more information is available
