Follow all signage and the instructions of staff, officials or any emergency service personnel present at the racecourse.
Make sure other members of your group have read and understood these guidelines

‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.
‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.
How the experts rate the horse’s chances:
2. BHA rating = the higher the number, the better the horse.
3. Timeform view and TFR rating
Look out for the summary of leading course trainers before each race.
Listen out for any jockeys who are having a successful day.

I’d like to welcome all of our Annual Badgeholders to today’s Sky Bet Sunday Series Seaside Spectacular Family Day at Haydock Park.
Prior to racing, several of you will have walked the course with our Clerk of the Course Dan Cooper I hope you have enjoyed and found it a rewarding experience.
Today’s racing as befitting ITV coverage, has plentiful prizemoney and is the penultimate leg of the SkyBet Sunday Series. Amongst the horses running today is Harvanna, who bids for a follow-up success for Fine Claret Racing, a superb syndicate run by Haydock Park’s former general manager, Jason Fildes It is always lovely to see Jason when he has a runner at Haydock Park with his enthusiastic and knowledgeable syndicate.
We have a wonderful period of racing coming up at Haydock Park over the coming few weeks and months, starting next week for our traditional Ladies Day fixture, featuring The Rose of Lancaster Stakes. We then culminate the flat season with the Sprint Cup and it is less than 4 months to the Betfair Chase. A thoroughly eclectic triumvirate of meetings to whet the appetite this year
There are an excellent medley of reciprocals for you to attend in August Most popular is likely to be Ripon on Bank Holiday Monday on 27th August Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse is an idyllic location on a sunny afternoon I am delighted to say that work on our 2025 package for Annual Badgeholders has already begun Should you have any constructive suggestions to make your experience more enthralling, please do bring to my attention
As with every fixture this year, an exclusive member’s bar area for gastronomic delightful refreshments is available, together with reserved seating and panoramic views from two private boxes, high up in the grandstand.
I wish you an enjoyable and successful days racing.

LEONARDO DAX: Following its run on 3/6/2024 it was reported that the horse was slowly away.
ZAYER: Following its run on 17/7/2024 it was reported that the horse hung right-handed under pressure.
Probable S.P’s: 9-2 Angel Hunter (GB), 5-1 Zayer (IRE), 6-1 Bowen Island (IRE), 8-1 Leonardo Dax (IRE), 10-1 Samujana (IRE), 12-1 Badge of Honor (IRE), 16-1 The Vital Spark (GB), Maldevious (IRE), 22-1 Baather (IRE), Captain Pickles (IRE), 28-1 Peninsula Power (IRE), 33-1 Cashlyn Cavalier (FR)
ZAYER shaped best when second to the more experienced winner at Ffos Las on debut and can go one better with that run under his belt. Angel Hunter has shown more than enough to suggest he can win one of these so is an obvious threat along with Bowen Island, who pulled clear of the rest when going close at Newcastle. TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.ZAYER

We have agreed with our vets that the screen should be erected, whenever a horse requires veterinary treatment on the course. This does not reflect the severity of an injury, but does help to provide a calm environment, in which the vet is better able to treat the horse.
Please do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse.

The welfare of the sport’s equine and human participants is paramount to British Horseracing. All racehorses competing in Britain are stabled at the premises of trainers who are licensed by The British Horseracing Authority The standards demanded by The BHA of licensed racehorse trainers far exceed those prescribed by animal welfare legislation The British Horseracing Authority similarly licenses every racecourse, setting high standards for the racing surface and all parts of the course used by competitors, both human and equine. BHA Officials ensure that racecourses delivers these standards In addition Haydock Park Racecourse employs a minimum of three veterinary surgeons, whose sole responsibility it is to provide care to the horses throughout their time at the racecourse In the event of an incident on the racecourse, any horse affected will receive immediate treatment from the racecourse’s veterinary team. Qualified paramedics and doctors are also on hand in the case of any incident involving a jockey If any incident occurs during a race it is routine practice for screens to be erected around the horse or jockey receiving treatment. This is to allow the veterinary or medical personnel to make a safe and accurate diagnosis and so that they may perform any treatment in a private and calm environment. If necessary, horses and riders will be transported from the course to receive further treatment at the nearest equine hospital or Accident & Emergency hospital
