Select your horse. Note their name and saddlecloth number
Choose your bet. ‘To win’ or ‘each-way’ are popular types of bet.
‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.
‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.
How the experts rate the horse’s chances:
2. BHA rating = the higher the number, the better the horse.
3. Timeform view and TFR rating
Look out for the summary of leading course trainers before each race.
Listen out for any jockeys who are having a successful day.
OTHER USEFUL DETAILS

1. FORM EXPERTVIEWAs part of our joint commitment to each other and the communities in which we operate, all racegoers should be aware of the Code of Conduct and observe the following whilst at our Racecourse.
For the safety of other racegoers and racecourse staff, please consider wearing a face covering in busy indoor areas or outside where social distancing cannot be maintained.
If you feel you may be experiencing any of the recognised symptoms of Covid-19, please put on a face covering and speak to a member of staff in a well ventilated area. It is best to travel home if it is safe to do so
Regularly wash your hands, use hand sanitiser and avoid touching your face and dispose of any used tissues appropriately.
Familiarise yourself with your entry point and the location of amenities within the racecourse.
We are operating a cashless event. On-course bookmakers/pool betting operators may accept cash
Enjoy the vast amounts of space around the racecourse and avoid congregating in busy areas (for example, along the rail or by the Winning Post).
Make sure all walkways, corridors and doorways etc are clear before you walk through.
Follow all signage and the instructions of staff, officials or any emergency service personnel present at the racecourse.
Make sure other members of your group have read and understood these guidelines
Thank you so much for your continued support and co-operation
We hope you have a wonderful day with us

FAR L’AMORE: Following its run on 23/5/2024 it was reported that the horse was unsuited by the track.
Probable S.P’s: 3-1 King’s Reign (FR), 7-2 Move On In (GB), 5-1 Hampden (IRE), The King’s General (IRE), 7-1 Far L’Amore (FR), 25-1 My Dream World (GB), 40-1 The Wounded Knee (GB), 50-1 Something (GB), 66-1 Valued (IRE), 100-1 Mad Mode (GB) PLAY SMARTER
KING’S REIGN cost a fortune as a yearling and showed enough in a pair of starts last season to think he’ll do much better at 3 yrs. Hampden wasn’t quite at his best in a York handicap last time but should be able to make an impact in these calmer waters, with Move On In and The King’s General also holding leading claims.
TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.KING’S REIGN (FR) 2.HAMPDEN (IRE) 3.MOVE ON IN

Plenty of unexposed types in this 3-y-o handicap but it’s one of the most experienced inAMANCIO who gets the nod to resume winning ways having found just one too good over C&D a fortnight ago Normand Legend and Campaign Medal are both open to improvement switching to handicaps, so they can provide most resistance, while Devoirs Choice is another who shouldn’t be underestimated after an eye-catching third start.

The welfare of the sport’s equine and human participants is paramount to British Horseracing. All racehorses competing in Britain are stabled at the premises of trainers who are licensed by The British Horseracing Authority The standards demanded by The BHA of licensed racehorse trainers far exceed those prescribed by animal welfare legislation The British Horseracing Authority similarly licenses every racecourse, setting high standards for the racing surface and all parts of the course used by competitors, both human and equine. BHA Officials ensure that racecourses delivers these standards In addition Haydock Park Racecourse employs a minimum of three veterinary surgeons, whose sole responsibility it is to provide care to the horses throughout their time at the racecourse In the event of an incident on the racecourse, any horse affected will receive immediate treatment from the racecourse’s veterinary team. Qualified paramedics and doctors are also on hand in the case of any incident involving a jockey If any incident occurs during a race it is routine practice for screens to be erected around the horse or jockey receiving treatment. This is to allow the veterinary or medical personnel to make a safe and accurate diagnosis and so that they may perform any treatment in a private and calm environment. If necessary, horses and riders will be transported from the course to receive further treatment at the nearest equine hospital or Accident & Emergency hospital
